Mālama Honua is a science class that will be teaching us the skills we need to care for our world, but essentially, to care for our culture. There are many traditions and practices within our culture that we need to have a better understanding of. In this class, we will be reviewing these traditions and practices to ultimately gain a better understanding, so that we may be the future leaders of our Hawaiian community. We will be practicing hands on learning to better connect to our CURRICULUM, instead of sitting and listening to a lecture that we will most likely forget.
